Other Attractions

Given our location it’s easy to see why there are so many amazing things to see and do in the local area.  As well as the attractions we have already touched on, there are a whole host of other things just a little further away (or sometimes closer to home) if you feel like a full day out with the family.

Just some of the attractions within easy reach are:  Local wildlife spotting, Chain Bridge Honey Farm and Heatherslaw Railway.  And if you’re looking for an excursion a little further afield, we are ideally situated for day trips to Durham Cathedral, Beamish Museum, Scottish Borders, and Edinburgh which makes an ideal day out at the Castle or the zoo!
